Fake News! EFCC Denies raid nor recovering N400b From Tinubu’s Home

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has denied raiding and recovering N400b from the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s home as widely reported in social media.

Wilson Uwujaren, the Commission’s Spokesperson in a terse message to newsmen, on Sunday said, “The report circulating in the social media, claiming that operatives of the Commission raided the home of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and recovered a humongous sum of N400billion is false.”

According to him, “The Commission wishes to state that no such operation was carried out by the EFCC. The public is enjoined to disregard the report as fake news.”
