The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja 11, has joined the list of dignitaries expected at the Annual Thanksgiving service of Primate Elijah Ayodele, JP, the Founder and General Overseer of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, which will be holding on Monday, February 14, 2022, at the church’s headquarters in Lagos. This is coming few weeks after the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’adu Abubakar, also confirmed that he will be present at the event to honour God in the life of Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele, JP. It will be recalled that for several times, the Ooni of Ife has described Primate Ayodele as a notable prophet in Yorubaland, whose tentacles have spread beyond the shores of Nigeria. Apart from Ooni of Ife and Sultan of Sokoto, several dignitaries that include State Governors, Federal House of Representatives’ members, neighbouring African counties’ Presidents, Ambassadors of Nations to Nigeria, Captains of Industry, top artistes and musicians like King of Juju Music, King Sunny Ade, KSA, et al, have also been billed to attend the all-embracing annual event. Over the years, every February 14 has always been a remarkable date for Primate Ayodele, being his birthday and annual thanksgiving date, where several dignitaries throng Lagos to honour the revered Man of God. He is also known for the many philanthropic activities and gestures he engages in on this day. In the past, Primate Ayodele has given out cars, scholarships, tricycles, cash and sundry empowerment items to church members, widows, Muslim communities, journalists, youths, just to mention a few. Of course, the 2022 edition will not be an exception for these massive philanthropic activities. Some of the things to expect this year are empowerments to widows and the downtrodden, commissioning of road projects, scholarships, cash gifts, to mention a few. This year’s edition promises a lot of largesse as the Servant of the Most-High God is always wont to do.
